Winslow

Fanny Male Puppy

"Winslow is doing fantastic. We couldn't ask for a better dog.

He is as smart as they come. You only have to tell him something once.

It doesn't mean he won't do it again, but he knows he's not supposed to.

He has slept through the night since we've had him.

He's had very minimal accidents and hasn't had any in weeks.

He plays with the boys.

He started swimming this week but he's not sure he likes it.

He goes to the boys' games every week and is content just hanging out

until the game is over. If it wasn't for safety, I wouldn't have him on a leash at all.

He always comes when he is called, stays close if you ask him, and will go off

and explore if you let him.

I will stop talking about the dog now. We just wanted to give you an update on him.

I think I already sent the one with him carrying the ball, but if I hadn't I thought

it showed off how white he is. The other is a couple of weeks old already (shown below)

He is growing like a fertilized weed."

Drake

Latina Puppy

Mike and Claudia

Well she is too good to be true

and the day we got her we were in the hotel room

and it was like she knew she was with her new family.

She jumped and ran like a puppy.

It was the funniest thing we had ever seen.

We laughed and laughed.

It went on for 20 minutes.

Nicholas calls her Bailey from the movie he had seen

a few weeks ago called Bailey's Millions.

She does not seem to mind.

He is very sick today so he is watching movies on the couch

and she is laying on the floor in front of the couch.

Nicholas is so funny he thinks he's a king now and

does not hesitate to let me know that I need to let HIS dog

out to go potty. It is so cute.

Well I think she is very happy, never had a potty accident

and loves her bed and rope toys.

We have cats and she has no problem with them.

She is so content and we cannot tell you how thankful we are.

We had that other dog here for a while but Nicholas

never took to it. It was funny it was too hyper for him,

it is good another child with special needs will get his needs helped also.

We are so glad that we saw a child with a Golden at

Childrens Dallas which gave us the start to search.

He asked me if her birthday is soon.

We said yes she will be 3 in Sept.

so he has requested a cake that day too

so I think it is his way of getting a second party from us. (smart kid)

We'll send pictures soon.

Take care.

Love Julie and Nicholas

Nicholas is loving his dog so much . . .

He wears his leg braces all the time now except to bed

but he is doing great and never complains.

He is so good.

Hope you are all ok and loving the country..

Nicholas and Bailey. They love each other.

We had just gotten home from a school open house and then right to bed.

I wanted to tell you that we had her spayed about 4 weeks ago

and all went well. Bailey did great and jumped back on his bed the next day

on her blue blanket she adopted. She is very spoiled and knows it.

She sure knows the routine around here and keeps it.

Well, I will talk to you soon.

Mike and Claudia

I had to send you a photo of "Piper" our "pink puppy"

that we purchased as a Chrismas present for our children 3 years ago.

What a joy it has been to have such a wonderful animal

as part of our family!

We consider her "The Queen".

We have never owned a dog that recieved so many compliments

and seems to draw everyone to her.

How magical it is to have her as part of our life!

Thanks and may you continue to have great success providing

these beautiful and loving pups to others!!

Hi Mike and Claudia!

We just wanted you to know that we have had a wonderful first night and eventful first day.

Chelsi "red" puppy . . . AKA . . "Daisy" . . . is doing fine and slept

the entire way home in my lap. She rode in the cart at TSC to buy dogfood, and chose

several toys to take home. She sat there like a kid in a stroller--content and proud.

We had time to drop by Sam's and get a new nice big dog bed. She slept all night in her

kennel, she was so snug that we had to wake her up at 8 am to go out!!!!! Not a peep

from her all night.

It was such a pleasure to meet you and thank you for showing us around your place.

We were certainly impressed at the extent you go to giving your dogs plenty of

space, security, and so much love and attention. . . .

Thanks again for all! Just wanted you to know we made it home safe and sound!

For all those out there contemplating on "why" you should buy from Silvermine Kennel . .

there are only two words I have to say . . . "Why Not"?

For many, many years I longed for a Golden, but have always been kind of a

small dog person. But when we had recently lost our Kacie who was a Pressa,

my heart longed for a larger dog. They always seemed like a big huggable teddy bear to me.

I searched for months on the internet and just couldn't make up my mind what it exactly was

that I did want. One day while doing an engine search I came across Silvermine Kennel website,

when I saw those adorable puppies there was no doubt in my mind, that Silvermine Kennel was it.

But being thousands of miles away, buying isn't so easy. You must first totally trust and have faith

in the owners/breeders. You don't just buy a puppy because they're cute. There's more to owning

a puppy than it's looks. You need to make sure that it comes from a good home, and not form someone

who's just in it for the money. I found with Mike and Claudia the most kind and most knowledgeable in

the area of Goldens. I was always treated with kindness and respect. They treated us as thought they

knew me all my life. They made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. Our Max is now

just a little over a year old and to this day if I have a question I can just email Mike and Claudia

and within hours, sometimes even minutes I have an answer to my question. Everything I want

to know they are more than willing to answer. So why wouldn't I want to own a

Silvermine Kennel puppy? Max has been quite a joy to our family. He is healthy, happy, and

you couldn't find a dog who wants to please it's owners more than a

Silvermine Kennel Golden. We are the parents of 8 children and what better pet for them than a

Silvermine Kennel Golden? You won't be disappointed.

I wanted to tell you this before, you or whoever does your website does an awesome

job!!! So easy to follow, so easy to get around, and the pictures are done beautifully!!!

Great job!!! Someone deserves a lot of credit - Stacy

Sassy Puppy

(Names withheld to protect the children)

Hi Claudia

"I bought my dog from you last year. He is a Russian pup.

I was just checking your website today and I see that you posted a few

pictures of Guru and me.

Thank you . . .

Guru is doing great! I am soooooooo happy with him and plan to buy

a female very soon. Everywhere we go people just gush over him.

He has turned into a truely wonderful dog and my best friend.

He just turned 1 year old today!

Guru is about 24.5" at the shoulder and about 75 lbs or a little more,

no fat all muscle!

He is a big beautiful boy and still growing.

I expect he will mature to 85 lbs.

He just got his public access and has had his good citizenship. Guru is currently

doing wonderful work with alcheimers patients and cancer patients at

The Hershey Medical Center.

We are attached at the hip! He goes absolutely everywhere with me, even class.

He will be making his second trip across country with me in two weeks. We are

relocating to Boulder, Colorado. He loves to ride in the front seat of my

Wrangler.

He and my other dog, Molly (a Cheasapeak Bay Retriever) go swimming all the time.

They are best friends. The only vice he has is . . .HE LOVES THE MUD!!!

It makes it quite hard to keep his white coat clean, but it's cute.

I couldn't thank you enough for giving me such a wonderful friend!!

Maggie and Guru

P.S. I will send you some new pictures of him now that he is almost grown.

He is truely stunning (at least I Think!) "

Tara

Female Sassy Puppy First Litter

Tara and Buddy (4 months old)

"Oh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Snow!

"My Tara"

Mike and Claudia

"I'm not sure if you remember us, Ray and Kathy Miranda. We bought a female

pup from you in August 2005. At any rate, I just wanted to update you on

Tara (the name we had given her). She is now a full fledged Therapy Dog

and is licensed as such. She also has her CGC (which she passed with

flying colors on her first try!)

She has become the "go to dog" at our program, as she is the dog

every child goes to! She works with an anger management group of

pre-teens and teens in the inner city, works with special needs children

of all ages in the suburbs, and also does a reading program with elementary children!

The schools she works at have had significant changes since the programs

have come in. Childrens' reading levels have jumped 1-2 grades higher,

anger issues are at an all time low, and some of the special needs children

have been able to be integrated back into their public schools.

Andre and Tara

Her temperament and ability to "read" the children is extraordinary

to say the least! She responds to any child who has her leash. Two types

of programs we do are teaching children how to train a dog to do a

Rally-O competition.

Tara knows her job, and in doing so the kids have their self-esteem boosted

by them "training" her to do the course.

"Mia and Tara"

The reading program is more relaxed and the kids just read to her and she loves the attention.

The children thrive as there is no one there to get frustrated or correct their slow reading.

"Reading"

She's also the dog everyone wants to take home with them (trainers too! lol!)

She's been the BEST dog and we can't thank you enough for her! . . ."

Thanks again!

Kathy Miranda

P.S. "It would be our pleasure to share this story with others. By all means post it

and I am including pictures also for you . . ."

Mike and Claudia

"I have a couple more pictures here and wanted to add one more thing regarding Tara.

When I had gotten my French bulldogs (1st Nitty, then 4 months later Neo) Tara

became their surrogate mother. They slept near her stomach or on her, she guided

them and housebroke them within two weeks! With Frenchies this is almost unheard of

as most owners complain how extemely difficult it is to housebreak them.

I owe it all to Tara, she became the mama and taught them everything. They still run to her

and she still cleans them. If she has a bone or a toy and they walk up, she gives it to them.

Not so with my other dog Ozzy, he'll show his teeth and growl. But he also has a soft

spot for Tara, as he has never once growled at her."

"We absolutely love "Sophie" and everyone she meets loves her too!

My three year old grandson said, "Oh, she is soooo cute Grandma!"

She sleeps in her kennel at night and only is up 2 times a night to go

outside and she has not had an accident in the house!

She is very sweet and loving and a wonderful addition to our home and family.

Thank you for getting her to us safely.

"I just had to send these pics I just took of Max a bit ago . . . I don't get it.

As you can see he is snoozing in the snow . . .any chance of an abnormal dog here?

Hope the New Year brings you lots of love, luck and happiness and good health.

Peace and God Bless

A Blessed Christmas to you.

Stacy

P.S. Thanks for putting some of Max's pics on your website.

I'll send you a few good ones here soon.

"Just wanted you to wish you both a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We absolutely love our Russian boy - "Sulwyn" (Dolores's Royal Puppy),

and he has settled in as part of the family.

He is very gentle with our son and very smart.

We can't wait to get my girl puppy from Russia when they arrive next year!

Thanks again and Happy Holidays!

Hi Mike

"See attached picture of Czar at 9 months with my boys.

He loves the snow and is a lot of fun.

Wishing you and your family a wonderful Holiday Season.

With kind regards,

John

Mike

No problem using any pictures I send

and if you ever need him for breeding, let us know.

I took him to Petsmart for school and the

training lady who grooms him said he is the best dog

in all her years she has ever groomed,

all he wanted to do was lick her.

I hired a personal dog trainer (Judy)

who also trains dogs professionally to

hunt birds on her farm.

She took Czar to her farm the past 4 weeks for training.

Judy told me he was the best dog she has ever had the joy to train.

He came back from training and even taught my 7 year old

right and left, go figure.

Judy did a great job with Czar.

I even tried to hire her to train my 7 and 11 year old boys,

unfortunately she is not big on training humans.

I tried to pay her what we agreed on and she said

"forget it"

as it was more fun for her.

(We took care of Judy just the same)

We have been hit by 4 storms including a blizzard on Sunday and 8 inches today.

Czar would rather jump and lay in a pile of snow than be inside.

He is a blast to watch playing with the kids.

Happy Holdays and thank you once again for delivering us an awesome puppy.

"Just wanted to send you a cute picture of my goofy girl Maya.

She just passed her Therapy Dog Title, so now she is

Silvermine Maya Rain Peterson, CGC, TDI

I am so proud of her. She will be working with autistic children in our local

elementary school. We also got her preliminary OFA hip xrays back as good.

She is still in search and rescue training as well.

Jake is doing well also. . . I have started working with him on his CGC

and he will be testing soon.

I have recommended you to several people as everyone loves Jake and Maya.

I hope all is well with you and you are enjoying your new place.

"Just a note to say how wonderful the new website is and congratulations

on the new location. My "puppies" are fantastic . . . naughty as can be

but just wonderful and loving . . . don't know what I did without them.

They are 11 months now and over 75 lbs. "Uncle" Greg comes to visit

them now and then. . .

I promise to send some pictures as soon as I have time to pick up the camera.

Claudia and Mike,

"I am so sorry it has taken sooo long to get any pictures of Max to the two of you.

Everyone says how time flies, but since I have been working 110 miles from home

the past 7 months time really does go by too quickly.

I never hesitate to tell people about your wonderful kennel and what a great

dog our English Creme puppy is. . . . . . . . Anyway, I have attached a couple of pics.

. . . . . . . From your website it looks like you have some great puppies coming up and

I will be certain to tell anyone who will listen to check you out.

Take care Tom and Lori

Hi Mike and Claudia

Wanted to send you a couple of pictures of Rushie (and Rina). She has grown up to be

such a beautiful, sweet girl! Also a big one! . . . . . .When we first got our puppy from you,

she had such a long tail and short fur, we worried that we had not done the right thing,

since we had never seen this type of Golden Retriever before, and yes, we would even go

so far as to say that we experienced a period of buyer's remorse. As our puppy grew,

and we watched her, we really realized that we had gotten the creme, or "the cream of the crop"

when she grew into her tail!--we love Rushie, and we know she loves us!!!--she even talks

to us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!--uses her voice in the most convincing way to let us know what she needs!!!!!! . . . .

Thanks

Paul and Jan

Rina

Thank you for sharing so honestly with us! I am certain other buyers will

appreciate your experience. Not everyone would know that these babies "lank out" as juveniles

and that it takes a while for the guard hair to grow into those beautiful creamy feathered

coats this breed is known for.

On another note, how beautiful your two girls are. They have very blocky heads and

you are maintaining their weight beautifully.

Again, thanks for sharing! You made our day!

Claudia

My Puppy

Hi! Just wanted you to know that our sweet "sugar" puppy we drove to get from you

a few weeks ago is the BEST puppy in the world. My two daughters just think

she is the prettiest and sweetest puppy they have ever met and I could not agree

with them more. People always comment on how sweet and calm she is for a

10 week old puppy. She is a Tiffany and Gambler pup and we will send you a

picture of her soon. We could not be happier or more in love with her . . . she

is just Perfect. Thank you so much.

Hi Mike and Claudia-

Daisy (Chelsi's Red Girl) doing wonderful!

She is already trained on our invisible fence---

but prefers indoors in this heat as I do.

She is the smartest dog I have ever trained ...wow!

. . . I want to come up with a cool AKC name for her

and I like to use parts of other family members names sometimes.

I was also wondering if I am to use Silvermine in the front or end of her name--

or does it matter to you?

I hope all is well with you all . . .

Thanks Susan

Hi Mike and Claudia,

Just a little update on our baby Silvermine Lily Munster now 4 months

is the most sweetest loving darling we have ever experienced

she has not had one health issue or has been in trouble once since the day we brought her home.

She does have a bad temper with the 7 month old Bluebelle over toys but nothing major.

We visit your site daily and love watching the puppies grow

We will never be with out a Silvermine English Creme!!

Thank you for this wonderful addition tou our Golden collection.

The Walker Family

Hi Mike

I thought I would update you on Angela's puppy.

We named her Gracie.

She has adjusted very well and is a big part of our family.

The kids love her to death and the dogs are learning to like her as well.

She is a lot of puppy for my two 14 year old retrievers.

She is making them younger.

Her personality is everything I wanted in a dog.

She is beautiful and we are very happy with her.

I will send a recent picture of her soon. . . .

Are you planning on breeding Breezy any time and

if so do you know who to?

We would like to in the next year get a male for breeding

and if she was bred to the right male she would be on my list of ones I would like . . .

Thank you for sending all the other pictures of Gracie as a puppy.

Thank you for such a great dog and I will keep you up dated on her progress.

She seems to be quite smart as well.

She is perfect.

Karen

Mike and Claudia

I periodically check you website for new photos and thought I'd email.

Jonah is a doll.

He had some trouble housebreaking but is otherwise the easiest puppy we've ever had.

He is very calm and affectionate.

After 3 rough months of absolute sulking at us and ignoring the pup

our 7 year old male golden now adores him as do we.

He is a joy of a puppy and I cannot imagine our house without him!

I will send some photos when I can.

He has a lovely face (though has a wrinkle on his nose)

and is snow white.

I get compliments all the time and must have referred 5 families to your website!

Jennifer

Hi Mike and Claudia,

These are a few pics of my boy, Dijon at 4 months.

We introduced him to water this weekend!

He had more fun than should be allowed!

We will begin formal obedience and field trial training in January.

The first one shows what a momma's boy he is.

Sophia is barking and he won't leave my side - ha!

Thanks

MJ

Hi Mike and Claudia

Hope you handled the ice and cold weather well . . .

I was thinking about you and all the dogs.

Attaching a pic of Dijon . . .

can't keep him out of the water . . . he was 5 months old in this one.

His ears are really not that colour when he is dry . . .

but this was also taken as the sun was setting over the lake.

He is doing well.

He will be 7 months old on the 20th of Feb.,

and is finishing up the novice obedience class.

Of course he is the star pupil!!!

We are continuing on with his open training and

we will be starting trials in the fall.

Had a thought about a female . . .

any plans on breeding Princess to Gambler this Spring??

Would love a female!!!!

Thanks

MJ

Mike

Wanted to let you know "Marlee" is doing great.

Vet appointment was the day after he arrived with a clean bill of health.

an amazing coincidence is that they named their dogs the same name

without knowing of each other!)

Hi Mike

We spoke a year ago about moving from AZ to Kentucky and I wanted to send you

a picture of the Russian pup you personally delivered a couple of years ago.

We are now in Lexington and Nicolai loves a big back yard full of green grass.

He is beautiful, calm, and very loving . . .

we are thinking of a pal for him!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you again for selling us the best dog EVER.

Just wanted to take the opportunity to let you know that "Dozer"

is doing well and send along a thanks and appreciation for working with my family

who purchased him from you for my 60th birthday.

What a delightful, cute, wonderful dog he is.

I've attached a few pictures from September when he was much smaller.

He's about 45 lbs growing like a weed and working miracles

with our 8 year old German Shepherd.

He also has become my office mascot.

Periodically I take him to work where he puts a smile on everyone's face.

He is now looking exactly like the 5 month old male who is still not adopted

according to your website.

Again, thank you for working with my family to bring this little guy to me!

Ann H. and Dozer

Hi Everyone,

These are the pictures we took of Elee at the tulip fields.

They turned out great and our friend (a photographer) did our editing

of my shadow and the leash so it looks like she is just sitting there on her own.

I thought you would enjoy seeing her and having some updated beautiful photos.

Thank you Mike and Claudia (Silvermine friends) for all your efforts to help us get her.

We are so happy with Elee.

She has an excellent disposition and fits into our home very well.

I think she believes that she is much bigger than she really is.

We got her second set of shots completed and we will not be

taking her "out again" until we have that 3rd set completed.

Roger and Kimberly

Hi,

I have been meaning to send you pictures of Leo.

He is the best dog ever and we are really enjoying having him as part of our family.

The girls absolutely adore him and he gets lots of attention.

I have some othr pictures of him with the kids

but I have been having troubles loading them onto my laptop.

As soon as I fix it, I will send them. Feel free to post any of them.

I hope all is well.

Clayton

Hi Mike and Claudia,

Congratulations on your move to Kentucky - looks wonderful.

Our family purchased a Golded puppy nearly two years ago sired by Adam/Princess.

He's going to be two years old come July and we're thinking

that he'd love to have the company of another pup.

I was wondering if Adam and Princess were going to be bred

in the near future or at least what pups you may have available including your pricing.

Hope that all is all well - looks that way from your website.

Thanks so much

Marianne W.

Mike

Happy New Year.

Just wanted you to know that Zephyr is doing great.

She is the most obedient and loving dog that we have ever had.

Your daughter did a wonderful job with the therapy and obedience training.

We might be interested in another!

Do you have any trained pups like Zephyr?

I wanted to send you a Valentine from Prince.

As usual, I am late sending it . . .

Guess who takes up all of my time!

He is my favorite everything!!!

We never leave the house without a stranger passing by quoting

"he is the most beautiful dog I have ever seen."

And he truely is.

From the day we got home, he has received perfect vet checks.

He is a big, beautiful, smart, strong and loving puppy.

He was of course, very excited about spreading Valentine cheer delivering roses!

Mike and Claudia, Thanks for being such great Puppy Parents!

I love my new home!!!

Hi Mike and Claudia,

The trip back was delightful.

Cammy is a really good traveler.

She has been a perfect puppy and everyone loves her.

She has a wonderful temperament, she sleeps through the night, she loves to play.

Thank you for the time you spent with us on Saturday.

Your home is lovely and you have an amazing bunch of dogs.

It was great to see them all.

We had Camden to the vet on Tuesday and she is perfect.

The vet was very impressed by her.

So, I'll send pictures and be in touch.

Thanks so much for everything.

Eileen

Hi

Here are a couple of pictures that a friend took of Stella

when she went to her first lawn party.

Hi Mike,

Maeve arrived just fine and is adjusting well.

She is a fast learner.

I trained her on the leash today and she responded VERY well.

Even off the leash I can snap her out of unwanted behavior (which is very minimal!)

We went for a walk for 5 - 15 minute walks today; she tuckers out pretty quick.

I took her everywhere with me today (as I always will; she is my pack)

running errands and she did great.

The people at the stores just melted at the sight of her.

By the way, she LOVES kids.

I had to correct her only once ( a single leash tug) for jumping up on a child

and she refrained from doing it again.

Tomorrow is her first of many visits with our local vet.

Last night she slept in her kennel ( I washed it out and bathed her after we got home from the airport).

I didn't hear a peep out of her.

We went for our first walk at 6:30 AM.

No food aggression.

I've had my hand in her food and toys in training but had to make ZERO corrections.

I'll keep you appraised of her progress every so often if you like.

Thanks for a great pup. Job well done.

All my best.

Tony (pack leader)

Wonderful to meet both of you yesterday. Our boy had a great ride home and he is every single thing we dreamed he would be.

Smart, sweet, well mannered, happy and healthy.

He is settled in with my Mother until this weekend when our son and I will give him to my husband Dan for Christmas.

I took him to our vet today and she was so excited.

Never had seen an English Cream Golden Retriever around here yet

so he was quite the pampered baby today and loved the attention which was well deserved.

Things are new to him and he is a little shy but quickly beginning to know who we are and that he is loved already. . . . .

He weighed 47 pounds and is perfect from top to bottom.

I am so grateful to have found you all and want you to know your operation is phenomenal and you have a beautiful place.

It's very noticeable that you love what you do and take great pride in your business.

Let me know when the female baby arrives from Deuce and my Mother or Bill are interested.

Me too if they change their mind.

We can drive back down to take a peek at her.

One of us would like to purchase her if you think she would be a good match with our boy.

Again, Mike and Claudia, much appreciation for having such a beautiful puppy

and thank you even more for allowing us to purchase him.

I will keeep you posted and look for names. . . . .

All the best

Paige

Hi there,

Even though his mother carried him on her lap for a thousand miles

it looks like he might be a little bit of a daddy's boy

He's already shown himself to be very smart, very loving, and somewhat independent.

Gets us up about twice a night to go out and goes back to sleep pretty easily.

Cleared his initial vet check and they fell in love with him on the spot

as have everyone in the neighborhood.

We went with the supplement

might as well give him every advantage we can.

We both thank you for doing a good job while he was in your care

and we will certainly do all we can to make his life happy and healthful.

He is just an absolute joy to be around, even at three a.m. in the back yard

trying to coax a little more out of him.

We found out last night that he has a kennel mate in the area only a few weeks older than Cotton.

When we find out who it is we'll let you know.

K.C., Beverly, and Cotton
